2020 was a year of Museum of Gdańsk 50th anniversary. To celebrate this occasion we were invited to create an exhibition dedicated to show what and why gets to be a part of Museums collection. By getting to know the history of numerous carefully picked exhibits, one can find the answers to two fundamental questions: „what gets into the museums collection?” and „what the museum gives in return?”.
The design of the exhibition is a consequence of multiplicity and variety of presented exhibits, which differ in size, form, or sometimes can even be immaterial, but are all equal in significance for presented questions, thus presented with equal means. The duality of color is a reflection of the two leading questiones.
