The City of Gdynia together with Museum of Emigration asked us to design a pavilion and photo exhibition for the Open’er Music Festiwal. Extraordinary exhibition showed unique photos of emigrants landing on USA’s coast in the end of XIX century.
The form of the pavilion have been achived by dividing a given space with a single wall whitch has made a dominant.
On the outside we prepared a common space for relaxation and meeting before and after seeing the exhibition. The inside contained the exhibition itself. A quiet, dark space with overwhelming labirynth of huge exotic portraits.
