This installation was created under the festival “Migrations/Creations 2” and was dedicated for the educational walks through the route of industrial architecture in the Port of Gdynia led by architect dr Anna Orchowska-Smolińska. We designed 18 information posts which contain text and photo materials showing history of presented buildings. The form of the stands had to be compact, but contain big amount of information at the same time. This aspect led us to the form fit with rollers and information string which could be individually scrolled to view the whole information. Industrial character of the port area resulted in the obvious, material decisions – raw, rusted steel with sprayed on signage.
