Project of spatial information system for open-air Museum-Kashubian Ethnographic Park.
Wanting to refresh the image, Kashubian Etnografic Park commisioned a complex project of rebranding, visual identification and spacial information for the museum. In cooperation with Bang Bang Design Studio we created a project of a spatial information system for the whole terrain of the museum
The main design goal was to create a set of expositors holding photo and text information describing every historic object within the museum. To blend them into the surroundings and avoid covering the presented buildings we designed them as wooden posts. This helped to maximize the exposition area in minimal horizontal dimensions. Every post was equipped with steel plates with text information, and rotating module with photo material.
As a supplement, we designed a set of objects helping in orientation inside the museum. Among them were a desktop expositor with museum map, an entrance board and direction posts pointing to important spots.
