Adam Mickiewicz Institute invited us to cooperate in creating an educational exhibition for children for Abu Dhabi International Bookfair where Poland was a guest of honor.
The exhibition allowed visitors to acquaint with rich history of polish book illustration for children, especially the ones about bugs and insects. Starting point of the concept was to reference to microworld by rescaling worms what gave a chance to stay with huge but friendly creatures.
Wooden construction of the display was softened by delicate, transparent textile which symbolized insects’ cobwebs and cocons.
The project was integraly made in Poland and then transported to Abu Dhabi which resulted in lots of restrictions during the design process. Working with this project was a great challenge for us but also a very nice experience.
